B. Dale Russell, M.D.
Dr. Russell earned his bachelor of arts degree from Duke University. He also earned his master of health administration and his medical degrees from Duke, and served an internship there, as well. He went on to complete an internship in general surgery at the University of Virginia Hospital, and a residency in general urology at Emory University Affiliated Hospitals in Atlanta, GA.
Dr Russell joined Scottsdale Urologic Surgeons in May 2001, and has been practicing
urology in the Scottsdale area since 1997. Dr. Russell began training in robotic
surgery in 2002, first dVP
performed in 2003. He has performed over 150 davinci prostatectomies as the
primary surgeon and has assited his partners on over 150 additional cases.
Dr. Russell is certified by the American Board of Urology.
